Dennis joined Qatalyst in June 2008 and is focused on strategic advisory initiatives involving key technology themes as well as M&A execution. His transaction experience includes 3PAR's sale to HP for $2.4B, Appdynamics's sale to Cisco for $3.7B, Ancestry.com's sale to Permira for $1.6B, Aruba Networks sale to HP for $3.0Bn, Big Fish’s sale to Churchill Downs for $885MM, Brocade's $600MM senior secured notes offering, CA’s acquisition of Rally Software, Citrix's acquisition of Cloud.com, Citrix’s activism defense advice cooperation agreement with Elliott Advisors, Kace Networks sale to Dell, National Semiconductor's sale to Texas Instruments for $6.5B, Nicira's sale to VMware for $1.3B, OpenTable's sale to The Priceline Group for $2.6B, Sony's divestiture of its Gracenote division to Tribune, Sourcefire's sale to Cisco for $2.7B, Xamarin’s sale to Microsoft and Yammer's sale to Microsoft for $1.2B.

Dennis is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, with majors in Finance and Operations Management and a minor in Music.
