Frank is Founder and Executive Chairman of Qatalyst and served as its CEO from the Firm’s founding until January 2016. He began his career with Morgan Stanley in 1977, has advised technology companies since 1981, and headed the global Technology Groups for Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse before co-founding Qatalyst. Over more than four decades, Frank and the teams he has led have advised on more than 600 mergers and acquisitions with an aggregate transaction value over $1 trillion and on more than 350 financings that raised over $65 billion for technology companies worldwide. Frank serves on the Advisory Board of The Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice at Penn Law School and is Chairman Emeritus of The Tech Interactive. Frank is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and received a B.S. in Economics summa cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

George joined Qatalyst in 2010, and has served as Chief Executive Officer since January 2016. Prior to joining Qatalyst, George was at Credit Suisse where he most recently served as Chairman of its Global Technology Group and Chairman of its Global Healthcare Group, and also served as Vice Chairman of its Corporate and Investment Banking department. Prior to that, George held a number of positions with Credit Suisse, including Co-Head of Global Technology Banking and Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 1998, George was at Deutsche Bank Securities as Head of its Technology Group’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions activities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, George was at Morgan Stanley, heading M&A activities in the western United States.
George has over 38 years of investment banking experience and has advised on more than 700 completed transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, hostile takeovers, takeover defenses, leveraged buyouts, financings, stock buybacks, spinoffs and leveraged recapitalizations. Jason joined Qatalyst in 2010, starting Qatalyst’s semiconductor practice, and in 2017 moved to London to help further develop Qatalyst’s business in Europe and Israel. Currently located in San Francisco, Jason advises companies on strategic transactions across all global technology markets. Prior to Qatalyst, Jason worked with Frank and George at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. He has advised on well over 100 completed transactions representing approximately $300B of value, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, hostile takeovers and defense, shareholder advisory, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, spin-offs and financings.

Prior to that, Adam was in the Equity Capital Markets group at Bank of America, and before that was in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Robertson Stephens. Hilary joined Qatalyst in August 2021 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Qatalyst, Hilary spent more than 10 years at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she most recently served as a Litigation & Trial Partner representing clients in high-stakes litigation. She is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focused on M&A litigation, securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, regulatory and enforcement proceedings, and other commercial litigation in the technology sector.

He has over 20 years of investment banking and legal experience. Prior to joining Qatalyst, Pete spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as Head of Activism and Shareholder Advisory for the Americas, as well as 4 years at CamberView Partners (now PJT Camberview), where he served as President and Head of Contested Situations. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he worked as an M&A generalist analyst and associate.
Pete has advised on over 70 shareholder activism, proxy fight and hostile takeover engagements for clients whose aggregate market capitalization totaled more than $400 billion of aggregate market capitalization, including technology firms such as Dell, eBay, Emulex, HP, International Rectifier, Mentor Graphics, Micrel, MSC.Software, Plantronics, Verint, Yahoo! and Zoran, as well as firms across a broad range of industries including Aramark, Bed Bath & Beyond, Clorox, Evergy, Genzyme, Hologic, Norfolk Southern, United Technologies and Valeant. Sally is originally from Portland, Oregon, and received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Qatalyst, Nadir spent more than 7 years at Credit Suisse, where he served as Head of the Global Communications Technology group. Prior to that, Nadir worked in a similar capacity at Banc of America Securities and its predecessor firm, Montgomery Securities. Before that, he was a member of the Global Project Finance team at Bank of America, specializing in the telecommunications sector.
